So you know how in my last two blogs/comments I said I didn’t have time to start a new book. Yeah. Guess what I did this weekend?
Yep.
Got it in one.
I started a new book. *bangs head against desk*
But I have a valid reason (she says)! I’m writing on several manuscripts at once which I’m used to, so that wasn’t the problem. The issue was they’re all at a point where it’s drama, drama and more drama. I was tired of all the characters’ emotions running rampant. I needed fun. I need hot sex. I needed…a new story?
All I did was think about it and I had a premise in mind. Then I had names, a title and *snaps fingers* I was typing away.
So here I am, 24 pages later, and at least I was right: the storyline is fun and the sex is hot. And so far, guess what? There’s no drama!
Result!
And what’s one more manuscript when you’re having fun…Right?
Emma *off to write some more*

Funny girl!
If I get any more ideas, my head will explode and it’ll all be your fault…again!

Hot sex and no drama? This is obviously fiction. Sounds like a delightful fantasy!

Very true!
I wonder if I can keep it drama-free until the very end. I’m only 30 pages in after all!
